The Role
- Lead, coach, and develop all hospital support teams with a culture of trust, accountability, and teamwork
- Partner with the lead veterinarian to align operations with medical quality and client service goals
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Build schedules, manage labor metrics, and ensure accurate timekeeping
- Direct day-to-day operations, client service standards, and safety protocols
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, charge capture, and daily reconciliation
- Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, facilities, and equipment maintenance
- Support client issue resolution and elevate service consistency
- Maintain regulatory and licensing compliance, documentation, and audits
- Drive continuous improvement in workflow, marketing, and community outreach

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Bachelors degree in business, health administration, or related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least 5 years of office or operations management experience, including 2+ years supervising teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and practice or healthcare software
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proven experience with budgeting, inventory, scheduling, and process improvement
- Flexible to work some weekends and holidays; comfortable working around animals and clinical environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties that may involve standing or walking for extended periods
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or MHA preferred
- License to practice in Texas if applicable to the candidates credentials; ability to maintain any required Texas registrations or permits for the role
