Veterinarian

Global Talent Partners is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to join a busy, well-equipped small animal hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Offering earning potential up to $310,000 alongside a four-day working week of approximately 33 hours, this is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with a strong interest in internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. The hospital combines a varied general practice caseload with ultrasound, advanced diagnostics, surgery and urgent care, all supported by an experienced technical team.

About the Practice

This established small animal hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical and preventative care within a modern, multi-room clinical environment.

The facility has been designed to support efficient patient flow and includes dedicated surgical and ICU/recovery areas alongside separate spaces for cats and dogs.

Services include:
• Wellness and preventative medicine
• Internal medicine
• Complex medical case management
• Abdominal ultrasound
• Digital radiography
• Comprehensive in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Dentistry
• Soft tissue surgery
• Orthopedic procedures
• Urgent care and stabilization
• Hospitalized patient management
• Vaccinations and preventative healthcare
• Client education
• Boarding services

Doctors have access to an impressive range of diagnostic resources, including digital radiography, ultrasound and a comprehensive in-house laboratory, allowing many cases to be investigated thoroughly without immediately relying on external referral.
The hospital also features a dedicated dental suite, surgical facilities and ICU/recovery areas, giving veterinarians the resources to manage patients from initial diagnosis through treatment and recovery.

A substantial and experienced technician team supports the veterinarians throughout appointments, diagnostics and procedures, helping doctors spend more of their time focused on medicine and clinical decision-making.
The practice combines walk-in availability with structured appointment blocks, including dedicated vaccine appointments, creating a varied caseload while maintaining organization throughout the working day.

The Opportunity

This role is particularly well suited to an experienced Veterinarian who enjoys internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and comprehensive case workups.
You'll take responsibility for a varied small animal caseload, including routine preventative medicine alongside more challenging medical presentations requiring advanced investigation and ongoing management.
A key component of the position is abdominal ultrasound, and the hospital is looking for a veterinarian confident in performing and interpreting ultrasound examinations. Experience with echocardiography would also be welcomed.

Your caseload can include:
• Advanced internal medicine
• Abdominal ultrasound
• Complex diagnostic workups
• Preventative medicine
• Chronic disease management
• Dentistry
• Soft tissue surgery
• Urgent case assessment
• Patient stabilization
• Hospitalized patient management

There are also opportunities to perform orthopedic procedures for veterinarians with an interest or existing experience in this area.
Urgent presentations can be assessed and stabilized within the hospital, with referral coordinated when patients require specialist or higher-level emergency intervention.

You'll work closely with experienced technicians and fellow clinicians, with a collaborative culture that encourages case discussion, continued learning and high standards of patient care.

The schedule is another major advantage. Veterinarians typically work a four-day week totaling approximately 33 hours, providing an excellent balance between strong earning potential and meaningful time away from the hospital.
