Veterinarian

An established 24/7 emergency animal hospital in Erie, CO is hiring a Hospital Manager with compensation up to $150,000. This leadership opportunity offers the chance to guide a high-performing emergency team and make a measurable impact on pets, clients, and staff.

The Hospital
This is a true 24/7 emergency practice serving dogs and cats in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The hospital is known for compassionate, community-focused care and a collaborative culture built on trust, accountability, and clear communication. Facilities support the daily ER caseload with:
- Digital radiology
- In-house diagnostics and laboratory capabilities
- Emergency surgery
- Access to on-call specialty support for complex internal medicine and surgical cases
- A structured walk-in and triage workflow to prioritize urgent patients

The Role
- Lead, mentor, and develop hospital support teams to foster a culture of trust, teamwork, and accountability
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management for administrative and technical staff
- Build efficient staffing plans and schedules; manage timekeeping, labor metrics, and overtime controls
- Partner closely with veterinarians on daily operations and client service standards
- Maintain policies and procedures that support high-quality patient care and consistent client experience
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and revenue-cycle processes; oversee charge capture and billing accuracy
- Administer vendor relationships, purchasing, and inventory control; ensure facility maintenance and safety
- Support resolution of client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and applicable regulations, including maintenance of staff credentials
- Work a schedule that may include some weekends and holidays to meet hospital needs

Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- License to practice in Colorado (or ability to obtain) as applicable to role responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least five years of office or operations management experience, including two years of supervisory responsibility
- Proficiency with office software and practice management systems; strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, and change-management skills
- Comfortable in an emergency-hospital setting and able to navigate fast-paced, evolving priorities
