The Role
- Lead daily hospital operations and cultivate a positive, high-performing culture centered on quality care and client service
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor administrative and technical support teams
- Build and manage staffing plans and schedules; oversee timekeeping accuracy and labor goals
- Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and revenue growth initiatives
- Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, purchasing, and cost controls
- Manage local accounting functions, including invoicing accuracy, charge capture, and cash controls
- Maintain policies, SOPs, and compliance standards; support safety, licensure records, and facility upkeep
- Partner with regional leadership on reporting, goal setting, and continuous improvement projects
- Support client service recovery and ensure a consistent, compassionate client experience
- Coordinate with veterinarians and the Hospital Manager leadership team to align operations with medical standards

Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- If applicable to role responsibilities, current professional licensure in Kentucky or ability to obtain
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of office or practice management experience, including 2+ years supervising teams (equivalent education and experience considered)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management software
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proven financial acumen and ability to analyze metrics, set goals, and deliver results
- Organized, resourceful, and adaptable, with effective prioritization and time management
- Comfortable working in a clinical setting around animals and cleaning agents; ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays
