The Hospital
This long-standing, full-service small animal hospital delivers preventive care, wellness exams, internal medicine, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and same-day urgent care during regular hours. On-site capabilities include an in-house diagnostic lab, on-site pharmacy, digital radiography, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, point-of-care testing, and cold/laser therapy. Dedicated surgical and dental suites are equipped with monitoring tools, fluid and syringe pumps, anesthetic monitors, and scales. Operations are designed for smooth client flow with online scheduling, reminder systems, same-day and multi-pet appointments, convenient parking, and a relaxed client environment. The hospital is open six days a week, including Saturday mornings, to serve the community.

The Role
- Perform comprehensive exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and provide client education
- Conduct routine surgeries and dental procedures, using appropriate monitoring and anesthesia protocols
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and in-house lab results to guide case management
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff to optimize patient care and hospital flow
- Participate in case rounds, quality standards, and protocol improvement from intake through discharge
- Contribute to ongoing training and practice development initiatives
- Typical schedule built around a flexible 4-day work week; limited Saturday morning rotation

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligibility for Tennessee veterinary license
- Current or eligibility for DEA registration
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a veterinary practice preferred; strong new graduates considered with mentorship
- Solid medical, surgical, and dental skills; clear, compassionate communication with clients and team
- Authorization to work in the United States
