The Role
- Lead the surgical service with a focus on soft‑tissue procedures and best‑practice standards
- Mentor and coach veterinarians, RVTs, and students; foster a strong learning culture
- Deliver high‑quality preventive care, dentistry, and client education
- Collaborate closely with the medical and client‑care teams to provide seamless case management
- Utilize in‑house diagnostics and digital imaging to drive timely clinical decisions
- Support urgent care during clinic hours and help refine protocols and workflows
- Maintain thorough medical records and uphold exemplary client communication

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Eligible for, or holding, licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- 3+ years of clinical experience, including soft‑tissue surgery and preventive care; comfort providing nutritional guidance
- Strong communicator committed to team‑based medicine and client service
- Demonstrated interest in mentoring and ongoing professional development
- Proficiency with digital imaging and in‑house lab workflows
