The Role
- Provide canine and feline general practice care, including wellness, illness, and preventive medicine
- Perform soft tissue surgery and dentistry, with the option to dedicate 1-2 days per week to these services
- Utilize on-site tools including ultrasound, digital radiography, dental radiographs, an in-house lab, and an on-site pharmacy
- Support urgent care hours every other Saturday, with potential for service growth
- Practice fear-free handling and uphold strong patient and team safety standards in radiology
- Document efficiently with scribe support and modern practice software
- Collaborate with credentialed technicians and assistants to deliver efficient patient flow and strong client communication
- Full-time schedule with flexible weekdays and a rotating Saturday shift (8 am to 1 pm)

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut, or ability to obtain
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration eligibility
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality, ethical practice
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply
