The Role
- Part-time schedule with flexibility
- Provide high-quality primary care with a preventive focus across wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and client education
- Perform dental cleanings and basic soft-tissue surgery within a well-equipped primary-care setting
- Utilize in-clinic diagnostics to inform case management and treatment plans
- Build lasting client relationships and communicate clearly about care options and follow-up
- Collaborate closely with technicians, assistants, and client service teams to ensure efficient, compassionate care
- Contribute to a positive, team-centered culture and support continuous quality improvement
- See primarily dogs and cats, with the option to care for small mammals, birds, or reptiles based on interest and experience

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited program
- Active license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility) for controlled substances
- Strong commitment to preventive medicine, client communication, and collaborative teamwork
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply
