The Role
- Full-time, small-animal general practice position serving dogs and cats
- Deliver preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, and routine medical workups
- Perform general surgery and dentistry; oversee anesthesia and patient monitoring with the support team
- Interpret in-house lab tests and imaging; create and communicate treatment plans
- Provide client education and compassionate end-of-life support when needed
- Collaborate closely with licensed technicians and assistants; help foster a positive, efficient clinical workflow
- Daytime-focused schedule aligned with posted clinic hours, including rotating Saturdays

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Active Virginia veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility for DEA registration
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills; general practice experience preferred, all experience levels considered
