The Role
- Part-time schedule with flexibility; weekend rotation may be required
- Deliver high-quality general practice and preventive care for companion animals
- Perform wellness and sick exams; develop diagnostic and treatment plans
- Conduct routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry as appropriate
- Utilize in-house lab and diagnostic imaging to inform clinical decisions
- Educate clients on preventive care, nutrition, behavior, and post-operative care
- Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff; help foster a positive, efficient workflow
- Adhere to medical, safety, and recordkeeping standards

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD)
- Active New Mexico veterinary license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration or eligibility preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to preventive medicine
