Facilities include dental and surgical suites, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and an on-site/online pharmacy. The team structure includes veterinarians, credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, and hospital leadership, all supported by on-the-job training, continuing education opportunities, and clearly defined development pathways. Compassionate end-of-life and hospice care are part of the service mix, and clinicians are supported to practice high-quality, preventive-focused medicine within a well-organized, team-based environment.

The Role
- Part-time schedule with consistent daytime hours and a Saturday rotation; no late-night emergency shifts
- Provide preventive care, wellness exams, and vaccinations with a strong focus on client education
- Perform routine dental procedures and soft-tissue surgeries; place microchips as indicated
- Utilize in-house laboratory diagnostics to inform timely treatment plans
- Offer compassionate guidance for end-of-life and hospice care
- Collaborate closely with technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership to deliver high-quality care
- Support drop-off appointment workflows to manage caseload efficiently
- Primary focus on small animals; experience with exotics is welcomed but not required
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best-practice standards

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility for DEA registration as required
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to preventive care and teamwork
