The Role
- Provide medical leadership across assigned hospitals in the Las Vegas area, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture
- Coach, develop, and retain associate veterinarians; support skills growth in clinical, surgical, and dental competencies
- Conduct medical record reviews, quality assessments, and case audits to uphold consistent standards of care
- Deliver excellent client service by promoting preventive care and timely access to appointments
- Partner with practice leadership to achieve clinical quality and operational goals, including service delivery and client experience
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substance management and radiation safety
- Oversee onboarding and coaching programs for newly hired veterinarians and support strong student/extern experiences
- Contribute directly to patient care as a working manager, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on clinical time
- Collaborate on medical equipment needs and maintenance planning

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Current Nevada veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop veterinarians and clinical teams
- Competence in general surgery and dentistry
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States
