The Role
- Full-time position in small-animal general practice
- Deliver preventive care and manage common medical and surgical cases
- Perform general surgery (spay/neuter and soft tissue) with the option to expand skills based on interest
- Provide dental care supported by dental radiography
- Utilize digital radiography and in-house lab diagnostics for timely decision-making
- Partner with credentialed technicians and assistants to ensure efficient, team-based care
- Educate clients and build long-term relationships through clear, compassionate communication
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold quality and safety standards
- Participate in curbside/drop-off workflows and use interpretation services to support client needs
- Engage in ongoing CE and help shape practice protocols

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Commitment to preventive, high-quality medicine and collaborative teamwork
- Proficiency with general surgery, dentistry, imaging, and in-house diagnostics, or a willingness to learn with mentorship
