The Hospital
This established, community-focused small-animal clinic delivers a broad mix of wellness and general practice services, supported by a collaborative medical and client-service team. The facility features multiple exam rooms, in-house lab testing, an on-site pharmacy, and dedicated dental and surgical treatment spaces. The caseload spans preventive care and vaccinations, dental cleanings, spay/neuter and basic soft-tissue procedures, skin and coat care, microchipping, medical grooming, and end-of-life support. Client access and convenience are priorities, with drop-off appointments, an online pharmacy option, and interpretation services available. The environment is dynamic and busy, offering strong hands-on learning, structured support from credentialed technicians, and continuing education opportunities.

Based in Bayshore Gardens, a planned waterfront community on Sarasota Bay, this role offers the best of coastal living with excellent regional connectivity, everyday conveniences, and abundant outdoor and cultural options within a short drive.

The Role
- Full-time, companion-animal general practice
- Provide preventive and wellness care, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Perform dental cleanings and basic soft-tissue surgeries (e.g., spay/neuter)
- Utilize in-house lab and on-site pharmacy to guide timely medical decisions
- Deliver clear, compassionate client communication and education, including support for drop-off services
- Collaborate with credentialed technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold safety and quality standards
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture in a fast-paced setting
- Participate in a flexible schedule that may include limited weekend or evening availability

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical and communication skills, with a passion for preventive medicine
- Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment; new graduates are welcome to apply
