With a broad medical caseload and a Monday-Friday schedule with no regular weekend hours, the position provides an attractive combination of professional development and work-life balance.

About the Practice

You'll join an experienced three-doctor veterinary team with clinical experience spanning preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, dermatology and general medical case management.

The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals, with services and capabilities including:
•Wellness and preventative medicine
•Comprehensive medical examinations
•Vaccinations and parasite prevention
•Internal medicine
•Bloodwork and urinalysis
•Digital radiography
•Diagnostic ultrasound
•Comprehensive dentistry
•Dental surgery
•Soft tissue surgery
•Spay and neuter procedures
•Mass removals
•C-sections
•Dermatology case management
•Senior pet medicine
•Chronic disease management
•Client education and preventative healthcare

Access to digital radiography, ultrasound and laboratory diagnostics allows veterinarians to investigate a wide range of medical presentations and maintain continuity from initial examination through diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

Surgery & Diagnostics

The hospital offers particularly strong opportunities for veterinarians who enjoy surgery or are looking to continue developing their procedural skills.

The surgical caseload includes:
•Routine soft tissue procedures
•Spay and neuter surgery
•Mass removals
•C-sections
•Dental procedures and oral surgery

Doctors are supported by trained veterinary technicians and clinical staff throughout surgical preparation, anesthesia, monitoring and recovery.

Pre-operative laboratory testing, appropriate sterilization protocols and structured post-operative care help maintain strong standards of patient safety throughout the surgical process.

The Opportunity

This position would suit a veterinarian who enjoys managing a broad general practice caseload rather than focusing exclusively on routine wellness appointments.

You'll have opportunities to work across medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry and surgery, while benefiting from collaboration with experienced colleagues.

One of the existing doctors has particular clinical interests in soft tissue surgery, dentistry and dermatology, creating excellent opportunities for shared case discussion and continued development in these areas.

Requirements

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
•Florida veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong general medicine and diagnostic skills
