The Hospital

- Broad services: preventive and wellness care, vaccinations, dermatology, dentistry with dental radiographs, gastrointestinal workups, orthopedic evaluation and supportive treatment, general surgery including spay/neuter, and microchipping
- On-site capabilities: digital radiology, dental digital X-rays, in-house laboratory, surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy for same-visit convenience
- Patient-friendly operations: drop-off appointments and coordinated care that streamline busy days
- Predictable hours: open seven days a week with typical hours such as Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00, Sat 9:00-17:00, Sun 9:00-16:00

The Role
- Full-time position in a small-animal general practice
- Provide preventive and general medical care, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and deliver clear client communication and education
- Perform and interpret diagnostics including digital radiography and in-house laboratory testing
- Practice dentistry with dental radiographs; perform general surgery including spay/neuter; support orthopedic evaluations and care within scope and interest
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff to maintain efficient, high-standard medical and surgical workflows
- Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols
- Schedule aligned with daytime hours and a fair rotation of weekends within posted hospital hours

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Active Virginia veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Eligibility for DEA registration as required
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- All experience levels considered, including new graduates
