The Role
- Provide high-quality small-animal care with a focus on preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, and general surgery
- Perform examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, interpret laboratory and imaging results, and maintain thorough medical records
- Educate and support clients to build strong, long-term relationships
- Collaborate closely with credentialed technicians and client service teams to ensure efficient, compassionate care
- Participate in drop-off appointments and provide empathetic end-of-life care when needed
- Part-time schedule with predictable daytime hours, including some Saturdays; flexibility available

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Strong clinical communication skills and a commitment to preventive care
- Comfortable working with digital radiography, digital dental X-rays, and in-house laboratory equipment
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient safety and client experience
