The Role
- Provide comprehensive exams, preventive care, and client education for dogs and cats
- Perform diagnostics and interpret results using in-house lab and imaging
- Manage anesthesia, pain control, surgery, and dentistry in a well-equipped setting
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold controlled-substance protocols
- Collaborate with technicians and leadership to support efficient, high-quality care
- Help refine hospital protocols and participate in rounds and quality initiatives

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice (or eligibility to obtain) in Virginia
- Eligible to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in small-animal practice
- Strong medical, surgical, and dental skills; excellent communication and teamwork
- Ability to meet the physical demands of clinical practice
