The Role
- Lead people and culture: hire, onboard, train, coach, and schedule staff while maintaining coverage, compliance, and labor targets; foster an inclusive, high-accountability environment; champion new initiatives
- Own financial performance: manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, AP/AR, billing accuracy, and collections; track KPIs and implement action plans
- Elevate client experience: set and uphold service standards, resolve client concerns and reviews, and ensure clear, timely communication and follow-up
- Streamline operations: optimize scheduling and workflow, oversee inventory and ordering, coordinate equipment maintenance, and refine SOPs
- Grow the business: manage local marketing, social media, and website content; plan community events and outreach to attract and retain clients
- Ensure compliance: uphold OSHA and workplace safety, proper record keeping and confidentiality, and adherence to applicable health, safety, and labor regulations
- Leverage technology: train teams on practice software and digital tools; partner with IT for support and reporting
- Collaborate with veterinarians and clinical leaders to align medical operations and client service with hospital goals
- Schedule: full-time; some evening or weekend availability may be needed based on patient and client demand; ability to perform occasional lifting and routine physical tasks

Requirements
- 3-5 years of management experience, ideally in a veterinary, medical, or multi-unit service environment
- Demonstrated experience with P&L management, financial analysis, and KPI-driven decision making
- Strong HR skills across recruiting, coaching, performance management, and scheduling
- Proficiency with practice management software and common office applications; data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting
- Active Georgia work authorization and eligibility to work in the United States
- If applicable for this role, active license to practice in Georgia or the ability to obtain it
