The Hospital
This modern, full-service small-animal facility is designed for efficient, high-quality care and a supportive team experience.
- Full in-house capabilities, including diagnostic imaging (radiology and ultrasound), in-house laboratory, dental imaging, and a dedicated surgical suite
- On-site pharmacy plus hospitalization and isolation areas for coordinated, continuous care
- Organized clinical workflows with veterinarians, technicians, and client service professionals working in step
- Language-interpretation resources to support clear client communication across a diverse community
- Client programs such as wellness plans to strengthen follow-up care and streamline visits
- Daytime operating hours with weekday and some Saturday shifts available; Sundays closed

The Role
- Provide high-quality relief coverage across preventive care, routine and urgent general medicine, and case management
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry as comfortable and clinically indicated
- Utilize on-site diagnostics, including imaging and in-house lab, to develop and execute treatment plans
- Collaborate with a skilled team of technicians and support staff for efficient anesthesia, surgery prep, recovery, and inpatient monitoring
- Communicate clearly with clients, using interpretation resources as needed, and maintain thorough medical records
- Support hospital protocols, including use of isolation and inpatient areas to ensure safe, consistent care
- Choose from primarily daytime shifts on weekdays with some Saturday availability; no Sunday shifts

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Georgia
- Authorized to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility) preferred
- Experience in small-animal general practice; comfort with routine surgery and dentistry preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and client communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and integrate smoothly in a relief setting
