Global Talent Partners is proud to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join a growing independent companion animal practice in Newark, New Jersey.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a veterinarian with a passion for surgery to become a key member of a rapidly expanding, privately owned practice. Since opening seven years ago, the hospital has established a loyal and growing client base and is now looking to add a second veterinarian to support continued growth while helping to develop its surgical services.

Working alongside an experienced veterinarian with a focus on dentistry and preventative medicine, you'll have the opportunity to build your own surgical caseload while enjoying genuine clinical autonomy, outstanding support, and a flexible compensation model that includes profit-sharing.

This purpose-built companion animal hospital has quickly established itself as a trusted provider of high-quality veterinary care within the local community. • Routine and advanced soft tissue surgery

• AIassisted SOAP note technology
• Pharmacy services

You'll join a close-knit team consisting of:
• One experienced veterinarian
• Two veterinary technicians, with plans to expand the team
• Dedicated client care and reception staff

Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, allowing you to provide thorough, relationship-focused care without feeling rushed. Daily caseloads typically range between 15 and 25 appointments, creating an excellent balance between quality medicine and productivity.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a veterinarian with at least two years of experience who enjoys both general practice medicine and surgery.

You'll have the opportunity to perform a broad range of procedures including:
• Routine spays and neuters
• Mass removals
• Caesarean sections
• Cherry eye repairs
• Laceration repairs
• Umbilical hernia repairs
• Aural hematoma repairs
• General soft tissue surgery
• Primary care consultations and medical work-ups

As the practice continues to grow, the long-term vision is to establish dedicated surgery days, allowing you to further develop your surgical interests while maintaining a varied GP caseload.

Schedule

• Full-time preferred (flexibility available)
• Tuesday to Saturday
• 10:00aM - 6:00pm
• No after-hours
• No on-call
• Flexible working arrangements available

Package & Benefits

• Base salary between $125,000 and $175,000
• Flexible salary and profit-sharing model

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
• Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience
• Confidence performing routine soft tissue surgery
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Passion for collaborative, high-quality companion animal medicine
