The Role

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll provide exceptional medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Responsibilities include:

• Wellness and preventative care consultations
• Diagnostics and treatment planning
• Internal medicine cases
• Soft tissue surgery (if desired)
• Client communication and education
• Working closely with an experienced veterinary and technician team
• Delivering personalized, Fear Free patient care

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

The practice is committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

• Full-time position
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 40-hour workweek
• 8:00 AM-6:00 PM shifts
• One-hour lunch break
• Alternate Saturdays only
• Weekday off when working a Saturday
• Never more than four working days per week

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation
$120,000$150,000 base salary
Choice of:

• Salary-only compensation, or
• Salary plus production bonus
• Flexible production structure tailored to the successful candidate

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for someone who is:

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree holder
• Licensed, or eligible for veterinary licensure, in Texas
• Minimum of two years' small animal clinical experience
• Comfortable working independently when required
• Confident managing 30-minute consultations
• An excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills
• Passionate about providing high-quality, personalized veterinary care

An interest in exotic animal medicine or previous Fear Free experience is welcomed but not essential.
