An established, privately owned small animal hospital in Krugerville, TX is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team.

Schedule

  • Full-time preferred
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • 40-hour work week
  • Shift Hours
  • 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • One-hour lunch break included
  • Weekend Rotation
  • Alternate Saturday shifts required
  • Saturday hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • When working a Saturday, a weekday is provided off in exchange
  • Never scheduled for more than four working days per week

Candidate Requirements

Essential
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Licensed in Texas or eligible for Texas veterinary licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Comfortable working independently when required
  • Confident managing 30-minute consultations and appointments
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional, personalized patient care
  • Interest in practicing within a Fear Free environment

Preferred
  • Interest in both small animal and exotic animal medicine
  • Previous experience within a Fear Free practice setting

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $120,000-$150,000
  • Flexible compensation structure:
  • Salary-only option, or
  • Salary plus production bonus
  • Production model negotiable based on candidate preference
  • Quarterly team bonus program
  • Sign-on and relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate
