The Role
- Deliver high-quality small-animal care across wellness, preventive medicine, dentistry, surgery, hospitalization, and urgent presentations during clinic hours.
- Perform comprehensive exams, utilize in-house lab and diagnostic imaging, and develop clear treatment plans.
- Manage anesthesia and perform general surgical procedures in a dedicated operating room; provide dental care with dental radiography support.
- Triage and stabilize urgent cases, collaborating closely with credentialed technicians and support staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.
- Work a relief schedule with the ability to select shifts; Saturday availability is expected, Sundays are closed.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active Virginia veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Clinical experience with general medicine, dentistry, basic surgery, and urgent care preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach
