The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups across preventive, medical, and dental care
- Conduct diagnostic testing and imaging; interpret results and develop treatment plans
- Perform general surgery and dental procedures within a well-equipped procedure suite
- Maintain accurate medical records and manage pharmacy duties, including controlled substance protocols
- Communicate clearly with clients about care plans, follow-up, and home care
- Collaborate closely with technicians, assistants, and client service teams to ensure efficient patient flow
- Contribute to clinical standards, case rounds, and protocol refinement to support consistent, high-quality care
- Support limited urgent case triage for established patients, referring as appropriate

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active or attainable license to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain and maintain)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in small-animal practice preferred
- Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry; comfort with diagnostic imaging
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills; team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties that may require kneeling, crouching, or standing for periods
