An established small-animal practice in Salem, OR is seeking an Associate Veterinarian, offering up to $140,000. Candidates may also qualify for up to $75,000 in signing, retention and relocation support.

Facilities include an in-house laboratory, digital radiography (including dental), a dedicated dental area, an anesthesia-capable surgical suite with monitoring, ECG when indicated, and both in-clinic and online pharmacy resources. The Role
- Deliver comprehensive patient exams, preventive care, and medical work-ups
- Manage common internal medicine cases; interpret in-house lab results and imaging
- Perform dental procedures including cleanings, dental radiography, and extractions
- Conduct elective soft-tissue surgeries with appropriate anesthesia and monitoring
- Communicate clearly with clients on diagnostics, treatment plans, estimates, and follow-up
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Promote teamwork, participate in rounds, and help refine hospital workflows and protocols
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on priorities, efficiency, and quality standards

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Active Oregon veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Proficiency in general medicine, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Strong interpersonal and client communication skills; team-oriented approach
- Ability to meet the physical demands of clinical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Eligibility to work in the United States
