Veterinarian

The Hospital
Join a full-service, team-oriented general practice that provides high-quality care across a wide spectrum of primary and advanced veterinary services. The hospital is known locally for compassionate client service, thorough case workups, and a strong patient-care focus. The multidisciplinary team includes veterinarians, a hospital manager, credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, client service representatives, and pet care staff, all working together to support excellent medicine.
- Modern diagnostics and treatment on site: in-house laboratory testing, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and cardiac monitoring/EKG capability
- Dedicated anesthesia, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgical suites
- Pain management and therapeutic modalities, including laser therapy
- Oncology/chemotherapy services available in-clinic
- Boarding and basic grooming/daycare services for continuity of care
- Weekday-focused schedule with a rotating surgery day, limited Saturday hours, closed Sundays and major holidays, and no on-call
- A culture that supports continuing education, skill development, and mentorship

The Role
- Provide high-quality primary care, including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
- Enjoy a rotating schedule with three days in appointments and one dedicated surgery day
- See a predominantly canine and feline caseload, with opportunities to care for small mammals, avian, and select exotic species
- Leverage in-house diagnostics and imaging for thorough case workups and timely treatment
- Collaborate closely with credentialed technicians and a skilled support team to deliver efficient, compassionate care
- Participate in client education and clear communication to support best outcomes
- Full-time position with no on-call; Sundays and major holidays closed

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, high-standard care
- Comfort with dentistry and soft-tissue surgery; experience with small mammals/avian/exotics is a plus
