The Hospital

On-site capabilities include an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, dental radiography, a fully equipped surgical suite, an in-house pharmacy, and therapeutic laser. The practice maintains established referral pathways for advanced and emergency cases, and it is recognized locally and nationally for quality care. The Role
- Provide comprehensive small-animal preventive and internal medicine, from wellness care to chronic disease management
- Utilize on-site diagnostics and digital imaging to drive efficient, evidence-based decisions
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, supported by a modern surgical suite and dental radiography
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, embracing a Fear Free, low-stress approach
- Collaborate with credentialed technicians and assistants to deliver efficient, high-quality care
- Co-manage complex cases through established referral and specialty partnerships
- Full-time schedule aligned with clinic hours (Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; Sat 8:00 am to 3:00 pm; closed Sundays)
- New graduates are welcome and supported with tailored mentorship

Requirements
- DVM or VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, high-standard care
- Comfort practicing within AAHA-level protocols and a Fear Free, low-stress philosophy
