The Role

  • Lead the clinical direction of the hospital as Medical Director
  • Establish and maintain the highest standards of veterinary medicine
  • Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, dental, and urgent care services
  • Mentor and develop veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
  • Develop and refine hospital medical protocols and clinical standards
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and controlled substance management
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership on service development, budgeting, and equipment planning
  • Support veterinarian recruitment, coaching, and performance development
  • Monitor clinical performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Promote exceptional client communication and a collaborative team culture
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives including vaccination and microchip clinics
