Located in the vibrant East Village, this full-service veterinary hospital is known for its commitment to progressive medicine and compassionate care for cats and dogs. The facility features a wide range of diagnostic and surgical tools, including digital radiography (both standard and dental), ultrasound, endoscopy, and an in-house lab. Backed by a team of seasoned veterinary technicians and support staff, the clinic delivers a high level of patient care and smooth operational flow.

The medical team performs both routine and advanced soft tissue procedures, and every surgical patient receives comprehensive anesthetic monitoring, pre-operative lab work, IV fluids, and attentive post-op recovery.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee clinical protocols and standards of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Serve as the DEA registrant and ensure adherence to state and federal veterinary regulations
  • Contribute to budget planning, review expenditures, and project staffing needs
  • Support community outreach efforts and represent the hospital at conferences or CE events


Requirements:

  • Holds a valid New York State veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire veterinary teams
  • Comfortable interpreting regulatory documents and ensuring compliance
  • Clinical experience in both medicine and surgery is highly valued
