You'll work alongside experienced veterinary technicians and dedicated client care professionals who help maintain efficient workflows while allowing doctors to focus on clinical decision-making and client communication.

The majority of the caseload consists of traditional companion animals, although veterinarians may also encounter occasional avian and reptile patients, providing additional clinical variety.

The Opportunity
This role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys the diversity of general practice while also wanting exposure to urgent medical presentations and surgery.

You'll benefit from strong clinical autonomy while having an experienced team available for collaboration, mentorship and case discussion.

Responsibilities will include:
•Providing comprehensive wellness and medical examinations
•Managing routine and urgent medical presentations
•Developing diagnostic and treatment plans
•Utilizing digital radiography, ultrasound and laboratory diagnostics
•Performing routine soft tissue surgery
•Exposure to more advanced surgical procedures
•Providing comprehensive dental care
•Managing chronic and senior pet conditions
•Providing therapeutic laser treatment where appropriate
•Educating clients on treatment options and preventative healthcare
•Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
•Collaborating closely with technicians and support staff
•Participating in shared walk-in and weekend coverage

Mentorship is available for veterinarians looking to further develop their surgical, dental or diagnostic skills, while experienced doctors will have opportunities to contribute to the development of other members of the team.

Requirements
•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
•Florida veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong communication and client relationship skills
•Comfortable working within a varied and occasionally fast-paced caseload
•Collaborative and team-focused approach
•Commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine

Surgical and dental experience would be advantageous, although mentorship and development are available for veterinarians looking to strengthen these skills.
