We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Director to lead a well-established, AAHA-accredited, Fear Free Certified small animal hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian ready to step into clinical leadership while continuing hands-on medicine in a collaborative, supportive environment.

The Role

As Medical Director, you will have a key leadership role while maintaining a clinical caseload. Responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care
• Leading medical standards and clinical protocols
• Mentoring and supporting associate veterinarians
• Collaborating with management on hospital operations and growth
• Promoting AAHA best practice
• Supporting a positive, team-oriented culture
• This role allows you to lead effectively without sacrificing worklife balance.

Schedule

• MondayFriday: 7:30 AM 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM (rotational only)
• Flexible start and finish times available
• Full-time schedule generally 4 x 10-hour shifts

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000$165,000 (depending on experience)
• Additional Medical Director bonus
• 20% production with no negative accrual
• Relocation or signing bonus available
• 3 weeks PTO plus 1 week CE time
• $3,500 annual CE allowance

About You

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Eligible for Oklahoma veterinary licensure
• Leadership or mentorship experience preferred
• Confident in general practice medicine and surgery
