Emergency Veterinarian

Global Talent Partners is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an Emergency Veterinarian to join an established 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a veterinarian with an interest in emergency and critical care to work within a highly collaborative environment, managing an interesting and challenging caseload while benefiting from access to advanced diagnostics, experienced technicians, and multiple specialty departments.

The position is a permanent Emergency Veterinarian role, offering the opportunity to become an integral part of an experienced emergency team while continuing to develop your skills in emergency and critical care medicine.

This established emergency and specialty hospital provides around-the-clock care for pets throughout southern New Hampshire and the surrounding region.

The hospital manages everything from urgent presentations and trauma cases to complex referrals requiring advanced diagnostics, intensive monitoring, surgery, or specialist involvement.

Emergency clinicians work closely with specialists across areas including:

•Surgery
•Internal medicine
•Neurology
•Ophthalmology

The Opportunity

As an Emergency Veterinarian, you'll manage a varied caseload of urgent and critically ill small animal patients while working closely with the hospital's emergency, specialty, and technical teams.

Responsibilities will include:

•Triage and stabilisation of emergency patients
•Management of acute medical and surgical emergencies
•Critical care and hospitalisation
•Trauma management
•Diagnostic workups
•Interpretation of laboratory and imaging results
•Emergency procedures
•Anaesthesia support for urgent procedures
•Transfusion medicine when required
•Management of patients requiring advanced monitoring
•Collaboration with specialty departments on complex cases
•Clear communication with pet owners regarding diagnostics, treatment plans, prognosis, and ongoing care
•Maintaining comprehensive medical records
•Providing clinical direction to technicians and support staff during emergency shifts

The 24/7 nature of the hospital means scheduling may include a combination of days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with schedules structured around the needs of the emergency service.
