The Role
Emergency and urgent care position
Perform emergency triage, stabilisation, and treatment planning
Manage medical and surgical emergency cases
Perform emergency surgery within your level of experience
Oversee inpatient and post-operative patient care
Utilise advanced diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment
Deliver compassionate and effective client communication during emergency situations
Collaborate closely with licensed technicians and support staff
Contribute to a positive teaching environment through mentorship and clinical collaboration
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
Eligible for Michigan veterinary licensure
Eligible to work in the United States
Experience or confidence in emergency triage, stabilisation, anaesthesia, and inpatient management
Previous emergency surgical experience is advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
