The Role
- Triage, diagnose, and treat urgent and emergent presentations for dogs and cats.
- Perform and manage routine and select advanced procedures, including soft-tissue surgery and dental care with dental radiographs.
- Utilize in-house laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging to enable rapid, data-driven decisions.
- Stabilize and manage hospitalized and ICU-level patients, including oxygen and transfusion therapy when indicated.
- Adhere to infection-control protocols and use the isolation ward for contagious cases.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, providing education and discharge planning.
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
