This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced emergency clinician to manage a varied, high-acuity caseload with strong technical support, advanced clinical resources and predictable shift patterns.

This established emergency and specialty hospital provides round-the-clock veterinary care, with doctors supported by experienced credentialed veterinary technicians, assistants and hospital leadership across day, swing and overnight shifts.
The hospital has been designed for continuous patient care, with multiple surgical suites, dedicated treatment areas and the resources required to diagnose, stabilize and manage complex emergency patients.

Access to digital radiography, comprehensive in-house diagnostics and advanced patient-monitoring equipment allows emergency doctors to make informed clinical decisions quickly when managing time-sensitive cases.

The hospital's multiple surgical and treatment areas also provide the infrastructure needed to manage a steady flow of patients while maintaining high standards of care.

Experienced credentialed technicians and veterinary assistants work alongside doctors throughout each shift, helping clinicians remain focused on diagnostics, treatment planning and patient management.

The Opportunity

This position would suit an Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys high-acuity medicine, complex case management and the variety of a busy 24-hour environment.

You'll assess and triage emergency presentations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, stabilize critically ill patients and oversee hospitalized cases while collaborating closely with the wider clinical team.

Doctors work alongside experienced technicians and assistants across established day, swing and overnight teams, creating consistency between shifts and supporting effective handovers for hospitalized patients.

You'll also have opportunities to contribute to clinical protocols, team training and quality improvement initiatives, helping the hospital continue developing its approach to emergency patient care.

The position is best suited to a veterinarian with previous emergency experience who is comfortable making clinical decisions in a fast-moving environment while remaining collaborative and communicative with colleagues and clients.
