A Different Kind of Veterinary Practice
Established approximately seven years ago, this modern, independently owned hospital has continued to grow while maintaining a strong focus on high-quality, Fear Free-informed care.

The practice prioritises a relaxed clinical environment where veterinarians have the time to treat their patients thoroughly and develop meaningful relationships with clients, rather than working within a rigid, high-volume model.

The team typically aims for around 1015 patients per veterinarian per day, with appointment scheduling designed to support the needs of each case rather than relying exclusively on fixed 15- or 30-minute slots.

The facility includes:

Dedicated surgical suite
Separate dental room
Digital medical records
Digital radiography
Ultrasound
Laser therapy
Modern diagnostic equipment
Dedicated space for dentistry and routine soft-tissue surgery
Veterinarians with a particular interest in surgery can expect the opportunity to perform at least one full day of surgery per week, with additional surgical time available depending on their interests and the needs of the practice.

Clinical Caseload and Development
This is a predominantly small animal general practice role, offering exposure to a varied caseload across:

Preventative medicine and wellness care
Internal medicine
Dentistry
Routine soft-tissue surgery
Spays, neuters and mass removals
Diagnostic imaging
Occasional wildlife rescue cases
Orthopaedic surgery is not currently performed, allowing the team to focus on general practice, dentistry and soft-tissue procedures.

Experienced veterinarians are encouraged to develop their own clinical interests and shape their role around the areas of medicine they most enjoy.

Supportive Team and Mentorship
You will initially work closely alongside the practice owner, with increasing clinical independence as you become familiar with the team, systems and caseload.

The hospital employs approximately 10 team members and has a strong commitment to staff development and retention. Several employees have been with the practice for around five years, and the hospital has supported team members through veterinary technician school.

New graduates are welcome to apply. The owner is prepared to provide hands-on mentorship and ongoing guidance until you feel confident practising independently.

For experienced veterinarians, the practice offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment where clinical interests, professional development and quality patient care are encouraged.

Potential Partnership or Ownership
For a veterinarian interested in a long-term future within private practice, there may be an opportunity to progress towards partnership or ownership.

This could suit an Associate Veterinarian who wants to play a more active role in the continued growth and development of an established independent hospital, with the potential to build a longer-term career beyond a traditional associate position.
