The Role
- Lead medical standards and clinical protocols while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Mentor and develop veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff; facilitate case discussions and ongoing training
- Balance leadership duties with direct patient care, including exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry
- Oversee quality improvement, medical record standards, and controlled substance compliance
- Partner with the practice manager on workflow, staffing, scheduling, and equipment utilization
- Promote strong client communication and continuity of care, supported by insurance and financing workflows
- Engage with community partners and support outreach initiatives
- Contribute to efficient, compassionate urgent-care visits during daytime hours

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Colorado veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 5+ years of small-animal clinical experience preferred; prior leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in general surgery and dentistry, including use of dental X-rays
