The Role
- Provide medical leadership, uphold clinical standards and guide the overall quality of care.
- Mentor and develop veterinarians and support staff; foster a positive, learning-focused culture.
- Oversee clinical protocols across wellness, dentistry, surgery and internal medicine; support case review and best-practice adoption.
- Partner with practice leadership on workflow optimization, client experience and hospital initiatives.
- Support scheduling coverage for weekday, limited evening and rotating Saturday hours, ensuring continuity of care.

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) and eligibility for licensure in Connecticut
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Proven clinical experience in small-animal medicine and surgery; prior leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration and client-service skills
