The Role
- Serve as the clinical leader and set standards for medical quality, patient care, and client experience
- Lead by example in the exam room and surgical suite while mentoring and developing associate veterinarians
- Partner with the Practice Manager on medical protocols, workflow, and quality improvement
- Balance hands-on clinical care with leadership responsibilities
- Guide a varied caseload across wellness, dentistry, surgery, and diagnostic workups, including care for pocket/exotic pets
- Support a smooth, outpatient-focused schedule that includes same-day urgent care slots
- Help manage performance indicators aligned with patient outcomes and client satisfaction
- Typical commitment of at least 35 hours per week

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) and eligibility to practice veterinary medicine in Massachusetts
- Active DEA registration (or eligibility) and any required state-controlled substance registrations
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience; prior leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and sound clinical judgment
- Authorization to work in the United States
