The hospital operates with published daytime hours, and after-hours emergencies are referred locally to 24-7 centers to support work-life balance.

The Role
- Serves as the clinical leader while actively practicing medicine the majority of the time.
- Establishes and maintains medical standards, protocols, and quality assurance.
- Mentors and supports associate veterinarians through case collaboration and coaching.
- Partners with practice management on workflow, scheduling, client service, and strategic initiatives.
- Guides recruitment and onboarding of future veterinarians.
- Fosters a positive, inclusive, team-first culture focused on high-quality care.
- Acts as the hospital’s Responsible Veterinarian and ensures regulatory compliance.
- Typical caseload includes wellness and preventive care, dentistry with dental imaging, diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, and select orthopedic procedures.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent)
- Eligible for licensure in New Hampshire
- Eligible for DEA registration
- 3-5 years of small animal clinical experience preferred
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred
- Strong communication and client education skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
