The Role
Full-time Area Chief of Staff position combining leadership (approximately 20-30%) with clinical responsibilities (approximately 70-80%). The position focuses on driving medical quality, client satisfaction, team engagement, and hospital performance.
- Lead daily medical operations; model exceptional client service and evidence-based medicine
- Mentor and develop veterinarians; coach and support paraprofessional team members
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, and team meetings; ensure strong internal communication
- Maintain high standards in medical recordkeeping and regulatory compliance
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions; perform general surgical procedures as needed
- Create and execute hospital priorities, budgets, and performance goals in partnership with practice leadership
- Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized clinical environment

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) and eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Colorado
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care and outstanding client communication
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Eligibility for and compliance with controlled substance regulations (as applicable)
