The Role
- Full-time, regional medical leadership overseeing day-to-day quality and performance across assigned local hospitals
- Coach, mentor, and develop associate veterinarians; elevate clinical standards and client experience
- Lead recruiting, interviewing support, onboarding, and mentorship programs for doctors and locum providers
- Conduct regular hospital visits and medical quality reviews; guide action plans to maintain consistent standards
- Collaborate with practice leadership to meet medical, client service, and operational goals
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substances and radiation safety
- Oversee medical equipment needs, maintenance, and calibration in partnership with hospital leadership
- Maintain a limited clinical presence to model best practices and support complex cases when needed
- Participate in professional and community engagement to strengthen referral and educational relationships
- Availability for some weekend or evening coverage based on hospital needs

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Georgia veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Proven leadership experience coaching and developing veterinarians
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel between assigned hospitals within the Sandy Springs area
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with occasional weekend/evening duties
