On site, the team utilizes an in-house laboratory, digital imaging including dental X-rays, a surgical suite with monitored anesthesia, and an on-site pharmacy to support timely diagnostics and treatment. Daytime appointment blocks with some Saturday coverage support work-life balance while meeting client demand. Virtual care tools are used to enhance communication and follow-up.

The Role
- Full-time leadership veterinarian responsible for medical quality, client experience, associate engagement, and operational performance
- Balance of clinical and leadership duties, typically 70–80% clinical care and 20–30% leadership and administration
- Provide high-quality preventive care, internal medicine, routine soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry
- Oversee diagnostics and treatment planning utilizing in-house lab testing and digital imaging
- Ensure excellent medical record keeping and adherence to safety and regulatory standards
- Coach, mentor, and develop doctors and staff; support recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance feedback
- Lead hospital meetings, foster team communication, and champion a positive, inclusive culture
- Partner on budgeting, inventory, workflow optimization, and efficiency improvements
- May provide occasional leadership support to other locations in the local market
- Typical schedule includes daytime weekdays with some Saturday shifts

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active South Carolina veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Proven proficiency in routine surgery and dentistry
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
