The Role
- Lead, develop and mentor associate veterinarians across assigned hospitals to drive clinical excellence and engagement.
- Serve as the responsible veterinarian for required permits and oversee controlled substance management compliance.
- Partner closely with practice management to foster an inclusive, collaborative culture and deliver operational goals.
- Conduct medical record reviews, case audits and quality initiatives to ensure consistent, high-standard, patient- and client-centered care.

- Recruit and interview veterinary talent; support student experiences and candidate hospital visits.

- Oversee medical equipment needs and maintenance; address client concerns related to standards of care.
- Full-time, hospital-based working manager role.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution.
- Active license to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain promptly).
- DEA registration (or eligibility).
- Proven proficiency in general surgery and dentistry.
- Leadership experience coaching doctors or multi-site teams strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between assigned local hospitals within the Temecula area.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
