The Role
- Full-time, hospital-based, working-manager position leading medical quality and doctor development across assigned local hospitals.
- Balances clinical duties with leadership responsibilities; percentage of clinical time is aligned with hospital needs.
- Provides medical leadership for veterinarians and clinical teams, including onboarding, coaching, case review, and skills development in medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

- Serves as the Responsible Veterinarian for applicable permits as required; oversees controlled substance management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited program.
- Active license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Texas.
- DEA registration (or eligibility) and knowledge of controlled substance regulations.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong clinical proficiency in general medicine, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
