The Role
- Full‑time Chief of Staff position combining leadership (approximately 20–30%) with clinical practice (approximately 70–80%).
- Lead, mentor and develop veterinarians and paraprofessional teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality care and client service.
- Partner with practice leadership on scheduling, workflow, safety and operational efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive general practice care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, routine soft‑tissue surgery, and medical case workups with on‑site diagnostics.
- Champion clear client communication, including in curbside/drop‑off workflows.
- Ensure accurate medical records and adherence to applicable laws and standards.
- Contribute to budgeting, goal setting and performance metrics to drive hospital quality and productivity.
- Promote a positive, inclusive team culture and a clean, well‑organized clinical environment.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding and ongoing training of team members.

Requirements
- DVM/VMD from an accredited institution.
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Proven general practice experience, including dentistry and routine soft‑tissue surgery.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication and team‑building skills.
- Comfort working in a client‑facing, retail‑adjacent clinical setting with drop‑off workflows.
