Lead a High-Performing 24-Hour Emergency & Critical Care Hospital

Global Talent Partners is proud to present an exceptional leadership opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to become Veterinary Medical Director of a well-established 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital serving the Milwaukee area. This role is ideal for an experienced emergency clinician or veterinary leader looking to combine clinical excellence with mentoring, leadership and strategic hospital development within a highly respected emergency practice.

Working alongside a team of experienced emergency veterinarians, credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and dedicated client service professionals, you will provide both clinical leadership and strategic direction while helping to foster a collaborative, positive hospital culture.

The hospital provides comprehensive emergency and critical care services, including:
• 24-hour emergency medicine
• Critical care and intensive patient monitoring
• Advanced emergency surgery
• Trauma management
• In-house laboratory diagnostics
• Advanced diagnostic imaging
• Blood transfusion support
• Mechanical ventilation and advanced life support
• Emergency ultrasound
• Referral collaboration with specialty services

As Medical Director, you will play a key role in mentoring veterinarians, maintaining exceptional medical standards, supporting recruitment and retention, encouraging professional development and driving continuous clinical improvement. You will work closely with the hospital leadership team to ensure excellent patient outcomes while promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability and compassionate care.

The hospital is equipped with advanced emergency and critical care equipment and manages a diverse referral caseload from primary care practices across the region. This position offers an excellent balance of leadership responsibilities, clinical practice and opportunities to influence the future direction of a busy emergency hospital.
