The Role
- Deliver comprehensive primary and urgent care for canine and feline patients through appointments and same-day urgent visits.
- Perform general surgery and dentistry, including the use of dental radiographs.
- Utilize routine radiology (x-rays) and in-house lab testing to diagnose and manage cases.
- Oversee hospitalized and ICU patients as needed, including oxygen and transfusion therapy when indicated.
- Provide clear client communication, education, and follow-up to support treatment plans and wellness.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records aligned with AAHA standards.
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff and participate in scheduled team meetings and training.

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Texas (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfort with general surgery and dentistry and readiness to manage urgent cases
