The Role
- Provide high-quality wellness and sick care for dogs and cats, including diagnostics, dentistry, and general soft-tissue surgery
- Utilize onsite tools (digital X-ray, ultrasound/echocardiography, EKG, in-house lab) to manage cases efficiently
- Develop clear treatment plans and communicate effectively with clients
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff; contribute to a positive, team-driven culture
- Manage and monitor hospitalized and medical boarding patients as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and participate in case discussions
- Typical posted hours include some extended weekdays and a half-day on Saturdays; closed on Sundays

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Comfort with general surgery and dentistry or a desire to develop these skills
